And, like I said, you SHOULD have said 20924. The kitchen is a place where you can choose programs, yes, but no, the "whole idea" isn't "so you can choose programs to be used with 20924". The idea is it can be used to cook a ROM...any rom...which is a lot more than just the parts you are choosing or 20924. The "kitchen" applications (bepes and PPCkitchen) don't change significantly, just the basekits they process. 20924 and 20931 are basekits. You plug them into a kitchen, choose a few optional items, and out pops a ROM. With Bepe, the distinction is not important because it does not handle multiple basekits or multiple devices simultaneously - you get a unique installation for each basekit/device you want to build. PPCkitchen, on the other hand, handles multiple basekits and multiple devices with only one installation. To say the "kitchen" is broken when it's really just an issue with a particular basekit and all other basekits are fine is obviously incorrect. It's like saying Microsoft Excel is broken because you have trouble using Joe Blow's spreadsheet with it.
