The difference between a .cab and an OEM is an OEM is basicly just files and registry settings, designed to cook into a ROM. A .cab is that and more. A .cab is designed to be installed on a phone (not part of the ROM) and can do more sophisticated actions than just registry changes and file copies. It is for this reason that not all .cabs can be turned into OEMs. |
