Tasks and/or Calendar Tab?

I'm thinking about getting a Touch Pro, and do like all of the Tabs in TouchFlo3d (until they get old and I want to try something else anyway)

After playing around with the phone in the store, I noticed that there is not a Calendar or Tasks tab. I believe I have seen a Calendar tab addition somewhere online before but not sure if I've seen it in this forum. Is there a working Calendar tab that can be added?

My main question is for the Tasks tab. As a PDA user, adding Tasks is one of the most frequent things I do on my current PDA. Is there a task tab that can be used? Do any of the current Roms available have that built in?

Thanks any info would be great! I used to have the Mogul, went to the Treo 800w, but am heavily considering coming back to HTC for this device (although the GPS lag is still scaring me away a bit, but we will see)

Re: Tasks and/or Calendar Tab?

I've read something about Pocket Informant? Does that have some good functions to use for Calendar and Tasks that work well on the phone?

Re: Tasks and/or Calendar Tab?

Don't know about pocket informant, never tried it. I use Spb Diary and a programm called SecondToday which basically gives you another today screen that you can map to one of the softkeys. So much better than the stock plugins

Re: Tasks and/or Calendar Tab?

You can link Pocket Informant open when you click on the calendar instead of the stock one. It shows 1 or 2 events depending on when they are on the home tab. There is a calendar tab but it shows only shows the days in the month. There is no task tab. If you wanted to open tasks, you can open the keyboard and click tasks. That view shows email, messages, bookmarks, web search, calendar, task, notes, and contacts.
