Unable to make multiple selections with custom roms
 

hey guys im having this problem of not being able to select more than one file or email after flashing to the new roms. the only rom that will allow me to do this is shadowmite's. i miss not being able to select more than one email in inbox so that i can delete them in one shot. i have not seen anybody reporting this and was wondering if this bothers anyone? thanks.

any of the custom roms that use the new sys builds like 20757 or 20755 or 20924 cause the problem. The reason it works in shadow's build is because he is using the sprint rom as base which uses 19965 so it doesn't have the problem

thanks glade, that was what i was thinking also. im just suprised not many people are bothered by this and hope that the issue will be resolved in the up coming builds.

while in inbox click on menu/select messages/several.

then click away at the messages you would like to delete. seems to work well for me.

You can also slide open the keyboard then use shift + the arrow keys...works great for me as an alternative.

On the diamond you can change the registry to enable it. The entry is:
HKCU/ControlPanel/Gestures/Touch - "disabled" dword:1

I added that value and it works now on my diamond.

hibby's rom don't have this problem. fine for me.
