However once I click on the Next button to start the flash ActiveSync will lose the connection, my device goes into the Bootloader, gives the progress bar and at 1% it errors out, restarts and I get this on the RUU:
"Error [244] : Invalid Model ID

This Update Utility cannot be used for your PDA Phone. Please check your Update Utility."

I've also tried installing it via memory card, it'll flash a quick message of "No Image Found" then sit in the Bootloader screen till I reset it.

How can I flash my Raph?

Whenever you get the invalid model id error, that means you are trying to flash a rom that was made for a different phone. That rom that you got from xda is for the GSM Touch HD (Blackstone) phone.
