hello everyone! quick newb question here, do i just copy the whole rom file (.rar) and place it in the ruu folder? or do i have to do something first with that .rar file? thanks a bunch

Use a program called winrar (download here) to extract it. Then you will see the files you need.

This has most likely been addressed by now, but I have not been able to find where in the thread. How do I find the ruu folder?

I tried relocking my phone and I don't know if it worked...It took like less than 30 seconds to get to 100%...I'm not sure how long it takes to relock the phone so if anybody can chime and let me know if it sounds right then that would be kool..Thanks..

mine worked fine and it took less time than that, installing the rom took a little while though

Put your phone into bootloader and see what version SPL you have. If it says 0.37.0000, you are locked. If it says 0.37.CMONEX, then you are still unlocked. See the locking/unlocking thread here http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=42503

How do u get out of bootloader once ur in it though...?..Just take the battery out?

just hit the reset button on the bottom of the phone.
