Who has the best rom out right now. I see several but havent seen any posts about who's rom is the best or most stable. Right now I'm looking at this one with the 32mb page pool and one from JD. For the Touch Pro (Sprint)

I was just looking around for that .dll file too and saw your post. I wonder if this is the sole cause of SO MANY people's landscape issues withe the previous app pulling up.

I am re-doing all my custom icons and have the tiny font in the volume controls so I tried to delete the htcvolumecontrol.dll file like you mentioned but it takes away two of my custom icons as well ?!?! It reverts the speaker and the battery back to stock and I kinda like the custom icons, ESPECIALLY the 3D battery with actual percentage!! Well, I guess I will stick with the tiny font until a better .dll file is released.

Actually, the htcvolumecontrol.dll file linked on the custom icons thread here at PPCGeeks is dead. Maybe they figured out the file was wreaking havoc and mayhem with peoples lanscape modes!!

It says by your screen name that you have a XV6800 which is a Touch, not a Touch Pro. This ROM is for a Touch Pro. Just wanted to let ya know!!

i've been using this rom for about three weeks with no issues. one suggestion for the next one (if there is one). make the registry change so that poutlook doesn't default to "reply all."

I've been using this rom for a few weeks and this is the first problem that I encountered. I just tried to update Live Search and it's telling me that .NET CF 2.0 is needed. I thought .NET CF 3.5 was included in the rom. So I tried installing the .NET CF 3.5 cab and got an error saying to stop all apps and processes and run again. So I stopped everything, even TF3D and still got the same message. I did a search and noticed others had the same problem with .NET CF 3.5 but I did't find a solution. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I love 4.0! I will not be upgrading to 5.0 UNLESS! There is a massive change like the Stocks tab in the TF3D. This ROM is really solid and I am loving every day I own my phone. Just wanted to tell Juggs, thanks just for the hell of it!

Today at the mall, I asked Santa for cooked Juggs 5.0 Touch Pro ROM with mail Reply All changed to Reply, Auto Run disabled, the landscape menu which appears when you pull out the keyboard when in Touchflo3d to disappear and an official Red Ryder carbine-action 200-shot range model air rifle with a compass in the stock, and this thing which tells time. Then Santa's elf grabbed me and shoved me down the Santa sipper slide. :D

Oops, my mistake! I should've caught that considering I had a Touch for about 6 months and I work at an indirect Sprint store and sold the PPC-6800 (A.K.A. The Mogul) :)

I've been trying to decide which is better between this and juggalos rom. I tried this one first and WOW THIS THING IS FAST!

I think i might stick with it before even trying out juggalos rom now! So i havent even compared the two at all and this is not advice, but im pretty satisfied with the first one i tried so im not even going to try the next!

Juggs, what drivers are you using for your 4.0 rom? I have used all the roms here and your 4.0 rom runs opera really smoother than all of them. I even tried just upgrading opera to you version to the other roms and it stoll dont run as good as your. I tried other roms with the same pagepool as yours and still..... the jerkiness on opera is still there. So there is something that you are doing that is making opera 9.5 2745 run better. I cannot figure it out. ALso... can you make a rom like your current 4.0 clean rom but with the Sprint TF3D. Thxs.....

Ya... this rom is lightning fast. But I wish I knew what made opera 9.5 run sooooo much smoother. Juggs... please share. Also... does anyone know if I can install the Sprint tf3d on this. Is there a cab?

My $0.02....love the ROM...fast...clean....but one thing I don't like: the blue is hideous IMHO. Can we get a plain old black...or something more mellow. Maybe the HTC green?

Or, does anyone know how to do this without cooking a new ROM?

Yup.. blue is hideous. I want the stock sprint but at this speed. And I really need to know what reg edits he made and if he used different 3d drivers.
