So, what can us average Joes do to get the pagepool higher? I flashed a bit before someone noticed the current PP setting. So my phone is still in that newly flashed stage.

Actually, this ROM is fairly snappy and responsive even with the default PP. I'm going to run this ROM for a while...I like what you have in it and I'm starting to get it to look the way I want.

Ok, I found Page Pool Changer v2.21. I ran that and chose hibbys 1.7 in the box, chose a new pp number, hit change, then close... Just reflashed.

Now, how can I check to see if that worked?

No, the PP Changer does not work. You can either change it yourself manually with a Hex editor or wait for Warlocklord to post the nbh where he changed his pp.
