My TP is running painfully slow on this ROM, just stock. I immediately disabled TF3D because it seems to slow it down, even with it off and NO programs running, my phone is crawling.

Does the performance tweaks in Adv Config make much of a difference on this ROM? Thats my next attempt, it just seems like this phone runs so slow no matter what ROM I put on it. My Mogul on no2chem roms seemed to perform better than my Touch Pro. Is anyone else experiencing this?

(Not trying to discredit this ROM at all - my TP has been fastest on this rom compared to any other and I can tell JD spent a lot of time making it great. I am just curious if slow performance is across the board or just me?)

Adv config definitely does not gain that much performance. I'd guess either you have a lemon or some kind of rogue app/registry setting. My tp blows away my mogul running n2c or dcd roms.

This isn't really an issue...it's more something I just don't like!

(how is that for honesty? hehe)

Anyways...I am unable to use the D-pad to scroll through the links in IE. With this version of IE, the D-Pad controls the scroll wheel. Does anyone know how to possibly fix this? I use IE for a lot of stuff so this is causing me pain.

yeah it was a regedit that I did that I don't like but never the less it has been fixed in the rom that I'm working on

When will this be released? I'm in ROM limbo now since I'm not exactly going to load all my crap on the phone if you're going to be releasing something soon.

the only thing stopping me from releasing is because 1 I want this to be a very complete rom I added java to it but I'm having a hard time finding midlets to add and 2 I want to make sure that it is gonna work right out of the box

i stuck a java oem in mine but no apps, it seems to launch and function though

yeah java works fine launching what midlets I have from my qvga days but I just don't wanna add something and not have any support for it plus I want this to be right so I can actually use my pda for something else than a test subject I'm ready to take a break from developing getting bored with it
