If that is what it is showing, then it is locked. The bootloader you can access all the time I thought.

so just to clarify before sending this in if it is locked I would see "SPL-0.37.0000" and "cmox" if it was unlocked still? Thanks for all the help!

hi, folks!

i have a verizon wireless htc touch pro but it's been reprogramed to be used in a different network. at the moment i live in central asia. and... i would like to change the original verizon ROM cuz i am NOT satisfied with how it's functioning: lots of bugs, too slow etc.

are there any ideas about this situation?

p.s. here're some ROM details: version 1.03.605.4; date: 10/01/08

if you have working data and mms then i would write down those settings and then unlock your phone if it hasn't been done already, then flash to any of the cdma tp custom roms here http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/forumdisplay.php?f=68. The verizon tp has little memory compared to all other tp's, so be sure to lower the pagepool of the rom to around 8 prior to flashing.

Rapid share is not working right now , is there some where else I could get Sprint stock rom .

hm... well i do have working data but don't have mms. all i want to do is just change the ROM but the thing is i don't know which ROM to choose. if you could provide with appropriate info that would be awesome! i guess i need a hand...

The HTC website should have the latest official ROM with the fix included for the 2016 text bug.

i don't know what your needs and likes are. I gave you the link to all the custom roms, so just browse through them and pick one you like. If you flash it to your phone and you dont like it, then you can just pick a different one. You can change roms as often or as many times as you want.

I have a CDMA touch Pro that uses a smaller provider (CBeyond) that curently doesn't have a rom install available. Before I try a customer rom i would like to dump the rom that is on my phone so that i could reinstall if needed. Please point me in the right direction for the tools required for a rom dump. also what settings would i want to record from my phone before i use a custom rom (previously i had verizon and could simply install a carrier cab)
