There's no telling what they are building with...there are some strange 20924 SYSes out there. Strange as they are, rumor has it they do run faster.

The kitchen will come with 20924, sys and xip, for all supported devices.

a kitchen made up like DogGuys kitchen for the mogul or the Vogue Kitchen Tools for the touch. I liked the kitchen but it gets boring just checking boxes. i would like to have a kitchen for the touch pro that is like those 2 kitchens.

Those are Bepe's kitchen, and you're "just checking stuff" there too, though going through a lot more steps before you get to click and sufferring more after you click. Why would you want to make your life more difficult?

They're ALL that way. You guys need to spend a few moments learning how to use the kitchen - it is vastly superior if you want to play at a low level.

ok, i want to get ready to cook agian. i have been away from ppc's since january (went to blackberry).

i have used dcd's kitchen and ppcgeeks kitchen (at least the one they had for the mogul.

i know there are a few different types of kitchens. some that have this base thing. some that have the sys. some that have a xip. i never used anything that wasn't super simple. i love to learn and love to read and learn my self. i dont mind it either.

my question are. in english.....

1. what kind of kitchen is the geeks using now?
2. can someone refer me to one of these types (linkies please) so i can start learning.
3. any tutorals for this types of kitchens to save a guy some time and / or possible bricks. lol. not that we cant recover from them.

Thanks guys, Cody

Re: ETA On Customs Roms

Sorry for the holdup, I'm having trouble obtaining an internet connection out here stable enough for me to upload the rom. On top of that, I had some issues updating the XIP, etc.

Anywho, a preliminary rom should be up shortly, probably in the next 30 minutes. Yes, this will include some kind of makeshift kitchen, but as usual, you'll have to figure that part out on your own.

the ppcgeeks kitchen group is working on one that is a simple point and click kitchen that is a very good kitchen for developers of all sorts but is not for me totally. it is very advanced but relies on internet connection which im not always able to use so i like using bepe's tools since i dont have to be connected to the interenet to use and you have to do everthing manually so you get a better understanding of how things are done.

well, nothing to get excited about... its just 5.2.20757 on top of stock rom with HTC_CM_Guardian removed, and multi-nai turned off in internet sharing.... I had a hell of a time debugging the broken bluetooth driver from the blackstone rom since i couldn't access kitl though... Its like working blind!!! apparently my connection just switched to 1x, this is going to be a fun upload!! i'll see if I can find somewhere with a nicer connection.
