I've installed the Verizon HSPL on my HTC touch pro and the phone don't wanna react anymore :s
Someone can help me ? :( I've tried the reset.. doesn't work |

FINALLY WORKS!!
*edit* to make it very clear ************** Copy sspl manual to device & run it (from your phone with file explorer or Total commander), it'll force your phone into multicolored screen, once in multicolored screen run the .37.exe file on your PC & it should work! ***************** Here's what I did. Took out SD card, rebooted 30 times, threw a stick over my left shoulder, took a dump, drank a 6 pack... (ha! and it still didn't work) So, I went with this note in post 1: NOTE 2: anyone having problems with the device entering SSPL automatically, please copy SSPLManual.exe from the SSPLManual.zip attachment to the device and run it. then once the screen is in SSPL, run RUU manually. i.e. you run the RUU on the PC, if it isn't obvious. *Don't worry about the RUU part, it expands when you run the .37 exe file (and it worked with a Sprint .4 ROM). HAPPY!~ *edit* Off course I didn't think 'I' needed to run the ssplmanual from the device! After all.... I know a few tricks... like vol down & off button at same time while resetting with stylus... HA! Key generated spl screen DIDN"T WORK, but ssplmanual from device DID. And that's all I can say about that! |

Telus Touch Pro. [New refurb, just got it a week ago]
Phone was at 100% battery power. WMC said the phone was connected. OK, hopefully I didn't **** up too badly. n00b mistake in that I watched the video walk-through and then downloaded the Diamond unlocker that was linked from it. - accidentally ran diamond unlocker - got error wrong device Re-read it and saw I needed the Touch Pro unlocker so I went to that thread and downloaded it: - ran raphael cdma hspl 037 unlocker - got error - asks to run recovery - runs recovery and for current rom version says nothing - i select update rom - goes back to saying there was an error At this point I just wanted to get the phone back to working - ran raphael cdma relocker - gets to screen where the file transfer is going - says there was an error Error [262]: Update Error The ROM utility has encountered communication errors during the update process - asks to run recovery - I take the phone off the cradle, unplug the battery turn it back on and re-cradle it - says that error recovery has been successful and the update process is ready to resume - runs recovery and for current rom version says nothing - i select update rom - goes back to saying there was an error Doing all this from my USB cradel. The final error I get on the security unlocked screen is: Red Area: RAPH000 SOL-0.38.0000 MicroP-Hermann (LED) v0C85 Green Area: MicroP-Hermann (KEY) v0685 PSOC-Raph STAGE_EVI v20 Upgrade ROM code error Please try again Then in the white area it says "Serial" if turned on while not on cradle or "USB" while on cradle. DID I BRICK MY PHONE? If not could someone let me know how to fix it? [Edit] Searched on the forums and it looks likes this might have to do with Windows 7 (x64) and WMC not properly connecting with the USB? |

Hey guys! I'm kinda a lurker on here, but I've actually been follwing PPCGeeks for a while. And it was suggested to me that I should finally contribute. So, here you go.
I found this today after some difficulty getting ActiveSync to open up the Hard-SPL files. Easy enough, it's a cab that installs directly into a System Tools folder in your Start Menu. Bootloader magic at your fingertips! This may cause an issue if you happen to brick your phone, but the choice is yours... I tried to install the rom and now I am stuck at the bootloader screen with red, green, blue, and white, can't get out of it, what do I do?

Problem..After following everything to a tee. When I turn my phone on all I get is the start screen that says TOUCH pro2. It just sits there and ges no further. I really need some help on this. After running the unlock software with no problem I used a custom rom from xda that was well liked the file name is EnergyROM_21885_RHODIUM_25.Dec.2009_StandardM2.5.r ar

Use only one made for CDMA phones. I think that using a GSM unlocker on a Verizon/Sprint TP2 will brick the phone. If you do have a TP2, I'm not sure what you did to the phone and can recover. If you actually have the original TP, then ignore all the above because it doesn't apply to you. Bob |

Hey guys i just picked up a sprint touch pro that has some issues and needs to go to HTC's repair company(pcd) for repairs under warranty, it had the stock rom, i didn't try to flash anything on it but i do see in the bootloader
RAPH800 SPL-0.40.0000 not sure if that's the stock spl or not, when i had a tp before it had spl 0.37 and the same goes for the unlocker in the first post. does that seem right or should i do anything before i send it for repairs ? Thanks |
