They don't make any sense to me because when I try to do an upgrade on my cell phone when I have my phone connected to my PC when it gets to the page where it says "this may take up to 10 mins" then and it always says "ERROR ..that my phone is not connected to my PC" but it is.

change this setting on your phone, then try the process again.
click start-settings-connections-usb to pc, then uncheck the box under "Activesync"

the purpose of unlocking the touch pro is so that you can flash custom roms......so, go have fun trying some of the great custom roms that people have built for free for you to use. windows mobile 6.5 is SOOO much better then 6.1.

mightyrom6 is very nice. i used his and dcd's roms when i had the touch pro.

im not sure if this issue was mentioned, whenever I use HSPL unlocker for my refurb Sprint TP, I always get an error "Can't connect" and the handset is just left in tri-color screen, and 'USB' doesn't appear until AFTER the error message appears. I simply ran the RUU again while it was in this state and it worked just fine.

im haveing the same problem. but trying again does not help.
ive tried about 13 times. same thing everytime.

it just opens the progress bar. doesnt show any at all phone goes into bootloader and then RUU says phone isnt connected.

also once this is resolved. i like the dirty papers tf3d theme. wil that work on mighty6?

rebooted my pc and hard reset phone
didnt work.
then put into bootloader. worked on 3rd try:disgust:
