I have had that problem before - actually on Goodsense, connecting as a disk drive then the computer stops acknowledging it in the midst of a transfer. Got that issue fixed when I did the task 29 flash. See if that helps.

Be glad! For some reason my phone will not connect or even be recognized by ANY computer. Something with my mini USB port appearantly. I do all my syncing over BT.

Yeah it's like better than a flash dance. This wipes your phone pretty clean. Leaves you with a touch pro and radio. I'm sure you know how to get into bootloader mode, that's how you'll get to another rom.

Quick gps is installed in the rom. The link in gps is only the help file. To fix this, just go to your windows folder using file explorer, and copy and paste the quickgps (the icon that looks like a satellite dish) and paste it to the gps folder.

I'm in tree mode looking for a gps folder, am I missing something because I don't see it

The gps folder is in \Windows\Start Menu\Programs.
