Ok I tried this just to see what it was like. Its working good for me. I like having the option to chose which interface I feel like using, whatever mood I'm in.
I have found some problems. The internet tab does not work unless you install the correct version of opera mobile. Must be version 16277 from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...61&postcount=3
And the first link for Youtube does not work unless you install the youtube app. Then you must edit "27c65cbd_manila" in the windows directory to go to the correct exe file. I don't know what these push page buttons are. I have not tried them out but I think on some other roms these are actually favorites imported from opera.

The other problem I have searched for a solution is on the settings tab, there is a button that says communications. This button does nothing. I think it should open up the comm manager. Any ideas on how to change this? Not a serious problem I suppose since I have the comm manager on a shortcut.

Gen.Y Manila R1.5 VGA CFC by yozgatg is a great port for TF3D v2.1 that I've installed on this rom. It works very well. Just find the cab install in the 5th post there and follow the instructions and you're all set. There are a lot of common questions answered in a few of the early posts there as well, so be sure to look if you need help with something.

If you have any further questions about it feel free to ask.

Yes, Communications is supposed to open the CommManager. All you have to do is search for the Topaz Comm Manager cab and install it and that will take care of that issue.

The most basic instructions would be:
1. Extract the kitchen into a directory.
2. Extract my sys package into the kitchen main directory.
3. Run the kitchen exe.
4. Set device to Touch Pro. (DO THIS EVEN IF IT IS ALREADY SET!)
5. Set XIP and SYS builds to the build you want.
6. Put a check mark in the box for "Real WM 6.5 AKU"
7. Click the "Other" button. Change "PP" to the pagepool you want. The default of 6 is too low. I recommend 0 so it is dynamic but you can do whatever you want. Click the big "Close" button when done.
8. Choose what packages. The most basic change would be to select the carrier package. Select Sprint if you are on Sprint or Generic if you are on any other carrier. If generic, you will need to install a carrier cab afterwards.
9. Click the "Create ROM" button and let it do its thing.

Once the ROM is finished it will load the pagepool changer. You can just close it since you can choose that in the kitchen itself. Once that is closed, it will load the ROM upload utility so you can flash it.

Yeah if you don't change the default packages, it will create the same thing as my public ROM. My kitchen doesn't have many packages anyway. I don't remember what the default carrier is set to, so just make sure it is set correctly.

As for the error, are you running the kitchen as administrator? I haven't used it in Vista/Win7 personally so I'm not sure of the nuances. I also only have access to my netbook for a few days, but will try to help.

two errors i'm seeing are about missing files in \rom\TOUCH_PRO folder
1. romhdr.bin
2. os.nb.payload

Yeah. That's one problem exactly: as soon as I get a few SMS (maybe 70 or so) transitioning from message view back to inbox causes the phone to become unresponsive. Deleting them hlps for a while.

I downloaded the kitchen and realized I didn't even include them! DOH! Funny how no one else has reported this after two months of downloads.

I am fixing this and will have an updated kitchen in a few minutes.
