Re: [ROM][WWE][04/09/10] swinnROM 6.5.5 23557/21898 CLEAN -- TELENAV

Relevant for Sprint customers only, I believe.

I was looking for this a couple weeks ago. Found a hint on XDA, found the install link on Telenav's site. You don't have to browse with your mobile.

Link to telenav for HTC devices

If you don't have a PIN, just go to my.telenav.com and hit the link that indicates you forgot your pin, enter your mobile number and telenav will SMS you your pin.

. . .

It's been three days on the 04/09 rom and so far no foibles or gremlins. I've installed Opera 10, Skyfilre, Facebook, Foxit Reader 2.0, Bing, Google Maps, TomTom 7, Telenav 5.5, G-Watch, Divx Player, Torch Button, and Pocket UFO.

Opera seems faster on this. . . I wonder if it was due to the compression?

Hey thanks for sharing. Is this supposed to work as Sprint Navigation?

Updated ROM is available for download. Note the default pagepool is now 16MB.

Can anyone recommend a few good dialer replacements? The stock dialer doesn't seem responsive compared to some others I've used in the past.

'm partial te Iconsoft's PhonEX

http://www.iconsoft.com/

'is a pay-for-program, but 'is very nice. (it also can replace yer favorites and contact list, both of which I use)

I also like PhonEx very much. Probably best-in-class for what it does. However, I'm using SPB Mobile Shell right now and am hoping to just replace my dialer alone! :)

No luck here. When I try logging in via phone app, it says my account has expired. :(

Yes. it is Spint's navigation. Others carriers, too I think. I saw choices in the drop down, but didn't choose them.

the download link assumes you are a Sprint customer.

Darn. Had to be logged in for 'multi quote'

Anyway, according to telenav means you haven't "paid" your "bill". What that really means, I have no idea. Probably your mtn isn,t registered on their system. Sprint your carrier?
