Out of curiosity is there a way to change the highlight colors in the rom? What I mean is the color that you see on the message popups and menu popups. It's currently that blue default color and I would like to see it black if at all possible. Is that something that needs to be cooked into the rom?

I think it is part of your theme. Are you talking about the highlight bar in the menus or the color of the notification bubble like when you get a text? What theme are you using?

Yeah you are right about what I'm talking about, and I've tried those themes you suggested when I tried the 6.5.x rom. But I just can't seem to enjoy the 6.5.x roms for some reason. Something about the design I just don't like.

So, for us gimped VZW users, I assume that the uncompressed version isn't a good idea?

It takes up more ROM space which you have the same as everyone else (512MB). In other words, it is a good idea :)
