If you can get swinn's rom they are bullet proof. Ive been using them since the beginning.

Yeah, I've been using Swinn's rom for a bit now. My EVDO stopped working and I had to take my phone in to get it replaced - so I flashed back to stock and relocked. Once it was replaced, I found that I lost my copy of DCD's. Swinn's was the next closest, so I've been using his for maybe 1-2 months.

Swinn's done a great job and I appreciate his work, but I still prefer this build. I'm not sure why, could be the replacement phone, but my battery life suffers on Swinn, compared to DCDs build. That and I like my phone REALLY stripped down.

Anyone have this dcd latest rom mirrored somewhere and can post a link?

Just trying to get a good one for this VZW Touch Pro that won't eat up the memory and I know DCD has provide us with great customizations.

People have also raved about SSK for Verizon. I might have the kitchen, but I will have to check when I get home.

Thanks guys. SSK's was recently re-distributed and I tried that. Running MightyRom6 now and just wanting to try more before I settle on one.

I have DCD's kitchen but I have never cooked my own. I searched my ass off trying to find a tutorial - I want to cook and looked at a couple kitchens but it seems they're different and I can't get going. Are kitchens all different?

Any tutorial I found didn't work with DCD's. I want to cook - can anyone point in the right direction for this?

DCD's kitchen is not a visual kitchen. One of the visual ones will be easier to learn. Swinn has a nice one set up to build titanium ROM's. I would also recommend geting OSBuilder kitchen and dump a stock ROM to start with and build from there.
