So, Twisted...this oldish/newish dialer, is this the dialer from your last release? I think it was called the Tachi dialer(maybe...but I could be totally wrong) with the curtain? If so....do you think you could include the dialer from this release as a cab? What's the name of this dialer anyway? Leo?
I love this dialer. Looks nice, works quick, dials quick, and I like the pictures in the call history.

Actually it is a modified version of the tachi dialer. It works very well. I strongly suggest that you give it a shot before switching it. I removed the stupid slide curtain anyway. It also shows pictures in the call history. As far as the other dialer. I don't have it as a cab only the package for the kitchen.

EDIT: I will actually be suprised if you say that you don't like the new dialer. ##codes work as well......no double tap on the talk button...etc...etc.

I will give it a try. I might not flash the new ROM right away, though. I am just too happy with this one to move past it. It's been over 2 weeks with out a hard reset! That's like a record for me since I started flashing the phone about a year ago. I actually don't even look at other threads anymore! (Well...I take that back...I still look at Energy's every once in a while to see what he's up to)

Well I'm glad your happy with it. Just make sure to download the new one. I have fixed several issues with it. Especially SMS improvement. (thanks to accessing) Same SMS it just works better.

Couldn't we use that package to create a .cab? In the past, I am pretty sure that I have taken parts of a kitchen out and packaged them. (I may be wrong...they might have been simply applications that were in a kitchen)

On a side note, the files that are in the ROM...like files/folders in the Windows directory...they show up in Total Commander as a ROM file...and read only. I have tried to change their attributes to remove the check for read only, but it does not work. Do you know if there is there a way to 'unlock' those files?

I have tried though active sync...that didn't work either.
I thought that maybe there was some known process like a rom unlocker program or something.

You should invest in to Resco file explorer. Worth it. If you download the trial you can use it full for 7 days...
