I've been using this ROM for a while now and in my opinion it is the best, most stable sense2.5 ROM out there for Touch Pro.

I'm having one issue: On v2 and v3 I am not acquiring weather data on the sense weather tab. I've tried a number of different radios, looked for fixes, did the flash dance, and still nothing. If I connect via wifi and update the weather it works perfect, but when I try using data(3G) no go.

Does anyone have any suggestions on a fix, cabs, regedits?

Side Note* This problem started after flashing this stock rom version:

Is that the newest stock ROM? And if so when you go to update the weather does the phone make a data connection but not update the weather. Or does it not even make the data connection?
1 thing you might try I know it may be a PITA but try to go to comm manager and establish a data connection first and then go to the weather page and click update.

Double check if there is a dialing option for data network set up under Start>Setting>Connections. I know for sprint it's #777, but for Alltel...

Sup D, got some really great "stuff" for ya. Will shoot you an email later tonight. Any thoughts on returning back to the previous messaging client? Am not able to select pics in messages, it hangs and then nothing happens. Previous client would open up the pic with no issues. Battery is still amazing!!:mrgreen:

Good to hear about the battery.......Yeah I was thinking about returning to the previous nomessageclient this one doesn't impress me that much. Pretty much the same issues as before anyways. I wanted to tell you with that last bunch that you sent me.........I attempted to cook them in but, all three (after the flash) were broken. Not sure whats up. I seen the Icons in games but when I clicked on them nothing happened. Keep'em coming though...............BIG THANKS!!!!

Tried that a few times as well. It's weird because I did set my location to Raleigh, NC and it updates as scheduled with no problem. It just seems to be having a problem retrieving the weather data with Google's My Location function. Oh well, I'll just have to change weather locations old school style until I find a fix.

After using that stock ROM I found it had unset the tower/roaming information. In Alltel, you can get to this at *228, then option 2, I believe. Then it handled a lot of things better, particularly when I was outside my basic coverage area. Maybe it will help with this problem, too.

I didn't like what that stock ROM did, and that is why I started with other ROMs.
