twisted, i was having the issue with the no sound on incoming texts. just wanted to confirm that a flash dance did the trick n it seems 2 b working fine now. Thanks alot! Awesome rom

Ok. For anyone who is having issue setting wallpaper on screen try this registry setting:
HKCU\Software\Manila\HomeWallpaper > change dword to 1

What is this "flash dance" people are talking about these days? Is this just a way to say to having to reflash? I'm a little slow these days.

A flash dance is: flashing a stock rom, hard resetting, and then flashing your custom rom.

Try this to reset your wallpaper, open the htc album through pic/vid tab, close using x(top right) set wallpaper through hometab. Can also be set through settings tab. Only fix I can get to work 100% of the time.

Only thing I found so far was that I am unable to always respond to text using the htc messaging client. I tap the message thru 2.5 tab but it doesn't always take me to the msg. May be a bad flashy, gonna redo.

Battery is Phenomenal on this bad boy. Friggin grrrreeeaatt rom!!!:thumbleft:

Thanks, but I've already tried that. Now after trying to change wallpaper the rom locks up on me, to which even after a soft reset I'm unable to get it to load, and I haven't installed anything else. I've flash danced about 4 times and still having the same issue...

I'm glad it's coming together real well.

Yeah unfortunately I think it is 4shared. Because sometimes during an upload it will get about 68% and then quit uploading.............So I have to start all over again............SUCKS A$&........Thanks for being patient with it though.

I wouldn't consider it slow we just worded it funny.
"FLASH DANCE"= means to flash back to your stock ROM and then flash custom ROM of your choice.
The reason is because sometimes reflashing causes some garbage to be left over from your last ROM and a simple hard reset just won't get rid of it. Your stock ROM actually cleans it out and starts from scratch.

The only problem that I've had with this is when flipping out the keyboard I have to click in the message pane a couple of times...sometimes to be able to start typing.
Let me know how the redo works....I'm contemplating putting in a newer version of amarullz no messaging client.


I'm sorry you've had bad luck with it. Have you tried to redownload the ROM and reflash.
