Did you backup the contacts before you flashed? Did you save the file on the storage card? If you did, then Run Pimbackup, it should be in Start>Utilities. Then after the program opens, select restore and select the saved file.

yeah i did that prior to the flash... u did mention about a contact fix where u have to delete something in the reg. can u tell me the whole directory? cuz right now my phone is the in the process of restoring all my sms. and i see my contact names, but when i go to the phone and search for contacts, nothing is there except for my calling card.

With the registry editor, Navigate to HKLM\Security\Contacts.
Delete the folders "Chooser" and "Property Picker"

ooo damn...... i just soft reset my phone and everything got erased again! like i had to do the align screen again and all my sms were erased again... does this happen every time u soft reset?

are u sure? cuz all i did was stuck my stylus in the button. is there any other step that i missed? do i have to "relock"?

No don't panic. Just reflash the rom. As I mentioned to you that Goodsense 1 was the stablest, so you may want to try that one. You can also try mine (Twisted Access) if you'd like. It's continued development of these roms.

icicic. well this is wierd i just soft reset again and every thing is still fine. startup was quicker this time around. I THINK the reason why it mightve hard reset was because i was still in the process of restoring my sms. hmmm do u think that was the reason? cuz restoring sms and contacts all time would be a pain. thanks for all ur help so far!


update:::: NOOOO. I JUST SOFT RESETTED AND NOW ITS ON THE "TOUCH PRO LOGO" WITH THE RED NUMBERS! ITS NOT LOADING!! damn i think its bricked.....

Ok, are you sure that you've unlocked the phone? Ok. Press the power button, the volume down button and soft reset at the same time. Remove the stylus but KEEP HOLDING the power and the vol. down button. This will bring you to bootloader mode. Then flash a rom. I will wait for your feedback

cool thanks, well im at work right now so i cant flash it here. im gonna be home later today and ill flash goodsense one. what are the differences between one and two? Does it still have sense 2.5 and winmo 6.5? and phone is unlocked btw
