Tried a new cord, no port even a new computer, had it working for a split second. then i switched PC's and it wont work on either PC again.

No luck... no device listed in my "network adapters" so use that fix..

About to uninstall active sync and try that

That worked kinda. It's bitching about how it's not in a USB 2.0 port. Even though i KNOW it is. plugging any USB 2.0 device into the port and it is USB 2.0

I'm positive it's the device and not the ROM, thank you for your help. Now to see if i can get a TP2 from asurion :D

Not since i installed my new RAID 0 in January.

This phone is glitchy, broke the second day i had it and needed to do a master reset. 3rd phone in 4 weeks from Verizon. Hence why i'm hoping i can get an upgrade from asurion, as i'm to poor for the $300 for my TP2

EDIT: is there a way to put Windows live Messenger on your ROM?

I'm sure too little to late for a question,
Have you flash danced?

I had a phone do that to me before, it was internal though
it was my first htc touch and that is why i never sync my contacts
using a pc. Now i just use Funambol.

Has anyone else had problems with the FB app not refreshing even tho when you press refresh it says goes through the motions?

Yup. Mine does that sometimes. I think it has to do with the network, not the phone though as I noticed my speed was slow today. Sometimes it works fine, other times not so much and sometimes I need to refresh it 3-5 times before it truly refreshes.
