I don't know what one that is. A name would be good. I would like to try it out. Not that I have any say what so ever in this rom, but if this was to happen I would think we would need everyone's opinion on which one to use and then ask Ahuskins if he wanted to put it in. Other than that, I would say if you can find the one you're looking for in a cab, that is the way to go. Also, if you like those, search for Androkkid. It is an android like UI that I thought was pretty cool.

While I never like to say anything negative about anyone else's rom.
I tried that SAC rom and it was useless.
99% of the icons were blank and had no working links.
It did not start on it's own at all. It gave icon errors on the settings that had been setup and cooked it.
Maybe I got the wrong version but what ever version I had did not work at all. It was a TP rom but the UI seemed to be mixed VGA QVGA settings as well.
I will give props to the chef for effort and I may check out another one of his roms to see if I just got a bad one.

Anyway bro.
You asked me for it and here it is.
All links work and have icons linked.
Smooth animation and good speed.

Is this a cab or is this something you cooked into one of your roms?

just my opinion, but it would be a terrible choice to start cooking a rom to mimic the fruit phone. when its as simple as a cab install, to have the audacity to ask the chef to cook it into the rom is asinine. if you want a fruit phone go get one. especially since the chef has recently asked us to put together comments regarding a "maintenance release" & not new bs features that only one person wants. my $0.02

Re: [ROM] SKI-ROM Build 012510 CE OS 5.2.23518 M2.5/M2.1 - Sashimi Compliant

quick question / suggestion.

after installing the newest rom i found that i was getting memory full issues. i checked my memmory and noticed with nothing open besides what the rom loads at the beginning it would be taking up 120 megs of ram.

what do other have for used ram at load up?

I found that after i went in to setting, unloaded sense 2.5, loaded windows default, then reverted back. i found that even after reseting many times, that the rom only uses 103 - 107 megs of ram. i wonder why it did that?

is there a way to make the rom have a smaller foot print on the ram that it takes up?

Does changing the page file dirrectly effect the amount of ram that the rom will use from the get go?

thanks.

B.

It can be installed with a few cabs and a little setup time. :)
Cooked into as well.

Yes it can be installed with a few cabs but it does take setting up and also is default QVGA settings ( at least on the version I used ).
So yes it can be installed but can also be tedious doing so.
I was asked about it and well I love trying something new. ;)

ahushkins my friend, hope you don't mind me posting that here.
Anyway back to SKI AWESOMENESSSSSS!
Think I will download the new rom here and give it a spin. :)

Yes, I have Winterface but it is not freeware so I won't cook it in.
Personally I like the free software better. :)

Anyone get Microsoft Tag to work? I usually blame some of the ghey throat poker applications that I install.

Never mind, I am illegitimate and I can't read really well. :P
I see others are having the same issue.

One other note, I think this is the best ROM(the 012510) that I have ever used on my phone.

Just tried it and I get a gray screen with next option.
Nothing to input to hit next.
Is that what you are seeing?
