yea,about the taskbar..
firstly,i love the rom.
cosmetically, its all u could ever ask for in a rom.
batterywise,its yet to be determined.
i do like the dropdown taskbar, usually in the right corner when u hit the clock.
i noticed that this rom didnt have it,so i installed the gs roundtaskbar and it ****ed the pooch bad.now theres this bar at the bottom, and im not able to hit the windows to go to programs, etc.
furthermore, when texting,it covers the send button.
:banghead:
any help?

Newer MS builds 6.5.x do not likey the custom taskbars for WM 6.5 due to changes in dll files and what not. Unless cooked in correctly they will make some bonkeriscious things happen. There are a few specifically designed Tbs that will work with 6.5.x such as bilbobrians and gregorz is making some for his dusk theme.

WHHHOOOOAAA SILVER. Hit the send hard key, dialer is up.....now you have a start button to get you into the start menu to go remove the TB causing you fits! No HR required bro!

Is there any way an x-button function can be installed on this? Task manager is a real PITA to use

I am a Showcase user......(feel like I should be in a meeting)..... I have liked it since Winmonewbie found a fix for some issues with another ROM using it. I map it to my hard send and set it up to hid the Close X in the top right corner. It hides it under my clock in the TB without getting rid of the clock. Even works with one of my fav hack cabs which puts the date with the time in the top right of the TB. I have had no probs with Showcase and find myself installing it on every ROM I flash.....including this one.

Credit to Luancie for this. It is a secret handsshake if you want the standard HTC drop down Taskmanager and not use Showcase. Click the clock, down comes the basic drop down menu, click and hold same spot on TB, walla walla HTC drop down we are all so familiar with pain in the arse to get it though Bro, that is why I mentioned my love for the Showcase.

If it goes away it usually means it was tapped again to fast.
At least from my testing.
It works but it does take getting used to.
