Christian.a - I don't seem to have the appointment problem you had. Stays on both the agenda view and home tab no problems. VolumeX even works with the appointment for silencing the ringer.

I'm glad to see someone found use for my stuff. i no longer have problems with agenda/appointment...probably got lazy w/ FD.
I will post an update soon for the taskbar that includes the dusk icons like the original after i figure out signal icon problems.

all, let me introduce myself, i am a newbie to touch pro, just got a used touch pro yesterday after having used a htc touch vogue for 2 yrs, been reading all the ROM's and felt this ROM had the most positive feedback and minimum user issues. so after looking at winmo 6.1 for 2 mins, unlocked it, flashed darkroot ROM in the next 1/2 hr. now couple of things i had questions about, please pardon my ignorance and unable to find answers through search:
1. can i disable vibrate on touch ? the regular setting is already un-checked
2. ran a dcd carrier cab for sprint(which i used for vogue), is that a good thing or bad
3. the main page says to enable max dark root combo, go to system tools after start, i dont see a folder called system tools, only system and tools folders and there is nothing like enablemax in either of those
4. the top bar is set to arkswitch, how can i disable it on boot? or the main reason is, if i get a txt msg, and i want to see it, i click on top, but then it launches arkswitch, so how do i see the txt msg without having to go to the txt msging tab...
5. how do i disable auto screen lock? i installed the task bar fix, but when the phone is locked i see a missed call icon, but when i unlock it, i have no missed calls, what am i doing wrong..
6. small issue i found, i just added a favorite to my web favorites list, and it is at the bottom, now i try to add it to my shortcut toolbar, i am not able to select it as it is at the bottom, and the springing effect doesnt let me go down to that level, and the bottom bar blocks me from selecting it.. same happens when i click on the home page top, right beside the RootRom and something opens up, what is it for? is it a quick launcher or something?

thanks drdrewdown, tried different locations to disable vibration, nothing seem to work, can you please give a little more steps to it, i couldnt find the touch response option under settings.

was referring to the manilla locker ( i guess, didnt know manilla had a locker too, definitely not the windows locker though)

The windows locker is in w the lock settings and thats found in the cookies... but if you dont want the cookies or like that lock heres the original lock for windows. hope that helps out man :)

thanks christian, that worked ( didnt even see all those options before and i have been exploring my phone since last night)

thanks guys for all your patience in helping out a newbie (will try harder more before i post questions)

i like the lock which is provided, definitely better than windows lock, but the taskbar info is not accurate, it always shows that i have a missed call, when i dont, do i have to install something ?

As for the missed call, try going into phone mode>menu>call history to see if anything is in bold. Not sure what else might be causing that.
