Hello Root. I am new to this forum.

I have recently acquired a used TouchPro and have been playing around with the various custom ROMs. I find that on balance I always end up liking yours the best even if I have to fix a few odd quirks.

However, there is one small annoyance that I have not been able to figure out, so I was wondering if you could shed some light on it for me? Why does the lock icon on the bottom startmenu bar not display the proper icon? I thought I would just get around this by switching to text mode:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Shell\Bubble Tiles]
"TextModeEnabled"=dword:00000001
--but this is worse because there is no text at all. Instead of the word "Lock" there is just a blank space on that softkey. This is also the case with the "Back" button - no text is displayed.

In the grand scheme of things this is a minor annoyance. Nonetheless, if it is not too much trouble, I am curious to know if you might have an answer/fix for me? I am not afraid to edit/modify files if you can point me in the right direction.

If I am not mistaken it is the taskbars or theme that causes that.
I have yet to delve into it here.
Will cook a rom without them and see what happens.

Cooking right now and hope to have an update or two tonight.

Fixed Settings on Start Menu ( However there are now two icons for it LOL )
Will try and fix it where only one shows later. Till then just delete one. :)

Fixed Market Place issue.

Working on XXXSlimRootLS now.

Dusk now fully works with 2012 and I have tested it here.
Going to test Pewter update now.

Will add both themes to the DL area under THEMES if Pewter works correctly.

Will try to convert Dusk and Pewter to kitchen packages later for Dark and Silver updates. Until then just install the themes.
You won't get the full effect that way but it will be close.
Leaving all my other roms up till I get around to making updates.

Gonna spend some time with family after I get these started on the upload. :)
Updates will come soon I hope.
Next week ( this Sunday night ) I start 3rd and that will take some getting used to.
Expect me to be tired for a few days. LOL

Here is a Base Slim rom.
BaseRoot

No custom theme or taskbar.
You can add your own.

This rom has no issues with menu bar icons.
All taskbar notifications also work.

Excuse my ignorance where can I get a replacement for the bottom task bar for the phone and menu bar.

Taskbars can be downloaded.
The softkey menu can be changed by changing the theme in today settings.
There are several already in the rom.
