I had the problem earlier today and then just had it again so it kinda confirmed it for me but after a long phone call (phone screen shuts off after a minute or two). Once the other person hangs up, the screen stays off and wont come back on. Buttons light up, touch vibration feedback still works, everything. but the screen wont come back on unless i soft reset.

Any screens of the carbon? Is it updated or just a new look?

I had about a two hour call today and had no blackout or sleep issue.

Here is what I do.
Go into power settings and uncheck turn off device.
It seems to make the device work smoother.
Leave the turn off screen but uncheck turn off device.

I cant figure out how to make it not shut off things when im in a phone call. Ive turned it all off in s2u2, battery settings, backlight settings, everything. and still when the phone call connects it shuts off, id like it to just show the s2u2 lock screen in a phone call.

Well it seems my phone was possibly double, maybe triple locking on phone call connect. The screen would lock, then go black. i could hit the power button and turn it back on, then unlock and end the call, then a lock screen would reappear, unlock that and another lock screen popped up, unlock that and we're finally back to home screen. So i entered the settings i wanted into S2u2, saved them, went into task manager and closed ilock/s2u2, then soft reset. After all that it FINALLY worked the way i wanted. phone call connects, lock screen appears, doesnt shut off. S2u2 is a tricky program to get working right eh? or am i just a total noob?

Isn't that a battery killer? My phone turns on when I get a text message, or when I go in a low signal area and it needs to switch towers. I can only assume that the battery would drain even faster if the device* were to be on for hours at a time.

That is why I posted to leave the turn off screen/dim screen option checked.
Uncheck only the turn off device.

Oops...I meant to say device, not screen. My bad. I'll give it a shot.
