i frequently get the gray square on this rom too and would have to soft reset multiple times to get it. idk what causes it it was never a consistent occurence like after i installed somethign or nething. it also hides the shortcuts below the home menu too.

hey i flashed to silver rom the other day and it kinda tweaked out a sec ago and wouldnt load txts and also changed my bkground to this sweet black wallpaper with like little circuitry lines and stuff on it. it fixed itself whatever it was but i want that wallpaper and dont know where to find it. does anyone have it?
also it wont connect to download weather.

The Grey square is gone i just changed the wallpaper to something else and soft reseted the phone and yep no more square!!!!!!:headbang:

Do you have to resize these wallpapers or do they auto fit the touch pro as these are for the tp2?

I'm not sure, still messing around with it. I installed the cab and it put it as the top and bottom, then had to get just the picture and set it as the background.

Whats the benefit in using this version of slimroot RootRom21_02052010_23518
over the previous version 21889.

I did notice today by 12 in the afternoon on the 21889 my phone was already at 50% power.
