I was just wondering what % people... On the 21xxx... Are running.

It started off well... But after a few hours its steadily at about 70% which i thought was s bit high.

Phone is a bit slower than when it initially starts

anyone else?

EDIT: JUST RAN CLEAN RAM... IT CLEARED 12 MB... AND NOW ITS AT ABOUT 68 :\ FEEL LIKE IT'S STILL TOO HIGH ( `-`)

OF COURSE no text freezing :) the ROM (any of them) is too solid.

@sah-how many SMS do you have saved, sometimes a lot of saved messages can cause the system to bog down, but I'm talking 100's or 1000's of messages. Try clearing some out.
If that's not it then flash to stock like root said.
btw-battery life is excellent here.

That does sound high. I am consistently between 54% ~ 58%...

You guys rock.

Got setup now and will test the app soon.
Have to finish up on this last rom update first.

Here is what I have been working on...

DarkRoot21

Calendar add on
Day, month and agenda view

32 shortcuts in program tab

Compact home screen with retractable slider

Compact manila - Still needs work but works.

Changed out taskbar giving better use on this rom.

Added Rhodium volume control that we were all used to. :)

May upload it now but expect an update later once I get compact home looking better.

Position issue remains but with so many features on this rom I don't know that it can be perfect. Will keep looking into it.

If you guys want screen real estate this is it. :)

All of my roms have PP at either 0 ( Dynamic ) or 6.
There should not be any problems with PP.
Did you install anything that is running in the BG?
Check the task manager and see what is running.

Installed this rom and everything works except the texting freezes up often. When I get a text and I click on it and read it, and when I text in the blank space it freezes up often.

Phone freezes during texting and the battery drains out fast!!

Need help.

I don't think its really freezing but it does do it for me on occasion. If I start or reply to a text message it will let me type until the first time I hit the space bar and then it stops inputting text until I tap in the text box with my finger. from there on out it does fine for the rest of the message.

I have also found out that the text program is slow in proportion to the number of texts that you have saved. Mine seems much slower if I have an inbox full of texts. Whenever I clean them out, things seem to speed up.

Sound similar?

David

ive soft reseted for a quick fix... after the reset its running @ 57%... but the mem tends to leak after a few hours...

If you are getting freezing I would say flash to stock then back to custom.
All these roms have been tested for SMS/MMS and I have not seen any freezing.
No one else has mentioned it so I would assume a bad flash.

Anyone else have text freezing?

No SMS problems during initial testing. But after running PIMbackUP to restore messages, there have been delays switching back n forth between threaded msgs and I do have 400+ messages. It gets even worse when using SMSChat but the ROM is perfect with limited msgs in the database.
