Update! Adamz Smoked Glass Rom Version 6.0 - 15Mar2010

Update: Adamz has uploaded Version 6.0 of his Smoked Glass ROM over at his alldroid.org ftp site.

This is his first 2.1 ROM and it looks pretty nice.

Really the biggest update is he's now got it set up as a rom.tgz instead of just a nandroid backup and it's a combination of all his options in the one file similar setup to DroidRom/Sholesrom configuration.

Much more polished.

NOTE: I was going to update the thread I started about his rom when 4.0 came out, but can't modify the title and it would've been a bit of a necro bump.

Im running 5.0 also and this thing is amazing,very quick,can customize alot more without installing a bunch of files.

im currently running droidmod (latest release) but would like to start experimenting with other ROMs...
i came from WM and once i did it 1-2 times it was a cake walk to load new ROMs and i sometimes did it multiple times a day...

i assume the Droid is the same way,
can some one give me a quick run down or point me to a Post/thread on how i would go from droid mod to Adamz?

thanx, thats what i was looking for... i quickley scanned it but will read it thoroughly before asking more questions...
i did notice it says that i need SirPsychoS' SPRecovery to install the ROM, i checked out the droidmod forum and from what i can tell, i already have that installed if im running droidmod, is that correct?

Yes you are all set. just copy rom into root of sd card where you see droidmord rom and boot into recovery like usual.
