I'm not sure what you mean by handcent settings from locale and text? The only thing in there for me are the keyboard settings which is what should be there.

I'm not sure what you mean by handcent settings from locale and text? The only thing in there for me are the keyboard settings which is what should be there.
I installed handcent on my friend's non rooted hero and he has handcent settings at that location.

Everything you can possibly think of that is AWESOME, has been implemented in this ROM. Best way to explain it.

Whatever you do, don't ever let her know that sms issue has been fixed! You'll always have an 'ignore' card to play!

My phone also stopped receiving text messages.

Not a ROM issue. Looks like this problem is casued by running task killers.

That's why I don't use them. [-X lol I've always wanted to use that emoticon. But yes, if task killers break the wrong thing then bad things happen. I can assure you this isn't rom related. Fresh 1.0 is about to hit 1600 downloads. An issue like this would have been an uproar. heh.

But even aside from task killers, if any app you install causes a service or something to go down then things will stop working. Your phone is just like a computer. If you install an application that also interfaces with your internet (how about a firewall in this example) and it doesn't act properly, it can prevent your previous programs from connecting to the internet.

Ok it's way too early for me to be making up examples. Coffee time. :)
