when i launch the marketplace i get a "cannot reach server" type of error.. bleh.. hardwipe/restore time i guess

Flip – It would be awesome if you were able to raise the size of the stock mms’s memory to more then a 1mb. It sucks that we have to use 3rd party app just send a freakin’ picture that we took on our camera..

50+ pages is alot to read thru, hopefully someone can answer, i finally rooted my phone, after trying for like a month, installed this rom, it booted up, go to initialize fresh rom, and its just stuck there flashing [WAIT]

what should i do?

well took about 10 minutes for it to finish, but it loaded into the room. so im good for now :-p

The first boot after a flash always takes extra long while it builds your dalvik and boot caches. :)

Is there a list of things done to this rom compared to the stock rom?

No, there isn't. But I was planning on making one (if I can even remember!). I'll post it here when I do it.

flipz, just pointing it out an issue I had, but not sure if anyone else ran into the same problem. Phone suddenly just stopped receiving SMS. Didn't find out until I got home and wife yelled at me for not getting back to her. I was able to send out but wasn't able to receive at all. I rebooted the phone and it started working again.

Anyone missing handcent settings from Settings>Locale & Text? I try reinstalling handcent but no luck... I don't know if this is handcent or ROM related.

Sorry, I have mine and not seeing it as an issue. Hope you get it resolved. Try completing a reboot, which you have probably done :) Good Luck.
