gazment and athlet1c - thanks for the infos. Will try do this tomorrow morning when I'm bit sober... pain medication is making me very drowsy at the moment lol.

Anyone else completely unable to use astro? Force close every time.Cant install it from market anymore either. it will pretend like it installs, but then.....doesn't.

Edit: Nevermind.....this shit just keeps getting weirder and weirder. All problems resolved. After what can only be described as an abnormal reboot, all is well again.

i did a hard reset just because..... now if i do a nandroid restore, will it put back all of my contacts i had before i flashed my phone? thanks

Ur hard reset will have been for nothing if u restore. It will all b the same as when u backed up.

A Nandroid restore would, as stated by ThaCountry, sufficiently defeat the purpose with gusto. 2 Stars, achievement failed.
