I installed this the day it was released and I was coming from the fresh 1.1 rom. I had PRI of 1.70_003.

I did not have access to the protected apps from the market. I tried installing MarketEnabler 3.0.8 and that Didn't work. I was browsing the thread over at XDA and found these instructions.

This is what I did to get protected apps:

1. Nandroid backup DCv2.0r2.

2. Wipe and flash DC1.0.

3. Upon boot up, sign in to Google, go to Marketplace and download a few protected apps. I downloaded Google Goggles, Twidroid, and ShopSaavy.

4. Wipe and restore Nandroid of DCv2.0r2. Upon boot up it started to download and install those 3 apps automatically. I let that finish. When I started Marketplace and went to Downloads it showed them, but not as Installed. So I downloaded them again and installed them over. After I did that the Marketplace was good.

This worked for me.

Maybe this will help someone else instead of having to wade through the 2400 posts at XDA.

I will second that alarm clock issue. My (real) alarm clock went off this morning and I figured I could lay in bed a few minutes longer till my cell phone alarms started going off... but they never did, caught myself but it was almost too late.

I'm not sure if its just me imagining it or not but there does seem to be a little bit of a memory leak with the rom...

BTW don't confuse ass kissing with showing gratitude. He is the first to acquire a leaked 2.1 rom that IS fully functional. And yeah i'm very happy with the rom. Its the only one that has EVERYTHING working flawlessly.

Cooks, developers, chefs, what have you all deserve gratitude for their hard work. However, Damage released a sprint rom that has come from someone within sprint. Of course people will be overly excited. No need to rain on anyones parade. Until the official gets released in a couple months, Damage has provided everyone with what they have been waiting for. Do you realize what chefs can now do with this rom?

I would say more but it seems like you already have something against the guy, so its pointless.

Oh don't mind him. He's just pissed off cause I told him where to shove it because he doesn't know how to win friends and influence people, pissed everyone off, and had nothing better than spread negativity over EVERYTHING and on everyone. Nothing good to say at all.

The problems people were having weren't related to my ROM, but to the fact that they flashed Eris based ROMs before which were screwing up.

I did forget to add some wifi files and such in my first release.

Also, I put it out there so quickly because I knew people wanted it. Sure it needs optimization, but people should be happy that they got it.

Also, this isn't just some random beta sometime, somewhere before the release.

I have learned that I can't please everyone, and I really don't care anymore. I tried to make everyone happy by coming out with what I could, but some people just wanted everything all at once, which I can't give right off the bat. People can't just be happy with my best at the time, I guess.

what is dalvik cache? and that INstall? im just really trying to protect games and high scores ;D and pics and apps.. a lil run through ? TIA

hey guys wm junkie who just swapped to hero i want to root and flash but can i go back to factory defaults still(on the 30 day)trial just in case i returned it..??and is this a pretty reliable or should i just wait for the official update please help me decide..

seems to be fine for me. havent had a force close all day in any app. just about as smooth as stock.
