Hi all. NOOB here, so be gentle.
Just downloaded/installed the Fresh 2.0 ROM without bricking, and it’s awesome.
I’m having a problem where the end button won’t lock the phone. not a huge deal, but it’s only a matter of time before I butt-dial my boss or something. Flashed successfully, everything else is working great.
Tried the following:
-Updated Profile and PRL
-Rebooted
-Did the lockscreen fix here: http://geekfor.me/fixes/vanilla-lockscreen/#more-1030
-Tried changing the settings in Spare Parts


All no dice. Anyone have any thoughts? Thanks in advance!

Hey guys got my Hero rooted(finally) and flashed the new Fresh and am wondering why my Youtube videos are not good quality. They are in a screen smaller then the phones screen too(about 2"X1 1/8" in landscape). I didn't play any while on the stock Rom so I don't know if it's an Android thing or what. I also get an occasional turn off on the phone. Thanks.

When in a video, hit menu, more options, and watch in high quality.

any way to get footprint workin again? it doesnt work in none of these roms

Anyone else having issues hearing callers with this ROM. Soft reset seems to take care of the issue each time, but it happens at least once a day.

Phone not going into sleep mode anymore
 

I've been running this ROM since it came out and I've had absolutely no problems with it, until now...

I noticed that my battery died REALLY quick today (50% to 15% in less than 20 minutes!!!). After checking things out, I found that the phone is not sleeping, awake time and up time are exactly the same. I haven't made any changes to the phones settings or anything aside from setting an alarm. does anyone have any ideas?

I installed a program manager and I stop all my processes thru out the day. That seams to help. I did have one program that kept it awake all the time. Re-Flashed and didn't install it and it corrected it. Just took me forever to figure out which one it was.

Might not be your case, but that's what helped me.

What is Gtalk? Looks to be something like AIM. I haven't been on much lately, its car and truck modding season.:headbang:

It is Talk or Google Talk on your phone. Turn it on, it uses no battery and you will be on all the time, if you set it up in settings. Me neither, nice. Send me a pic.
