[ROM] Gumbo 1.5B

Fellow Hero-ers! I found this ROM on another site created by Gbhil on Androidcentral. With his permission I am linking and copy/paste the following info. All thanks to him.

Original Post

All new release. The ROM has been reworked using MoDaCo's incredible build scripts. This gives great performance while keeping all the features.

What's included:
Apps2SD (see post below)
Dropbear SSH server (see post below)
Spare Parts
Mount USB quick mount app
Phone Portal (administer your phone over WiFi via browser)
Car Mode
Quick Boot
Wireless Tether
Catharsis Calendar Widget
Voice Search
Latest Version of Maps for 1.5
Samsung's Behold II Cube media app





Rosie has been reworked, runs very fast and uses the new Expresso style interface.


A wipe is suggested before installing, because of the new build scripts. If you choose not to wipe, note that many apps have been placed in the /data/ directory for easy future upgrade. At a minimum all caches must be wiped. Note that prior versions are no longer supported, please update to latest before reporting bugs.

As always, this comes with no guarantee, and I'm not responsible for anything.

I have been running this ROM for two days now with no problems. Very quick and stable ROM. I've also flashed/enabled the following:

• Modaco's new kernel
• Clear Add on's
• 2.1 android widgets
• enable compcache

Yes you can switch to this rom directly over Fresh 1.1.

Just flashed from TTG (which I thought was awesome), but my first custom ROM was Modaco, and now I'll give this a shot..Wish we could get the user on this forum himself though...:\

Yeah its a 1.5 He just flashed 2.1 Icons as an add-on.
