Well those are a bit more complicated questions to answer than id like them to be. I get paid pretty close to MO minimum wage and I live in a one bedroom apt by myself. Those things basically mean I'm pretty broke which means I have no real internet.

Which leads me to my next point, installing stuff requires to build a Rom or compile a kernel without internet is a pita.

Last but not least, I'm not really what you would consider a dev. I serve pizza for a living (hence the minimum wage). It took me probably like almost a month to grasp whats involved in building a rom and another to it together as an end product.

With that said I now have to teach myself about stuff that modaco and gbhil can throw together in a day. However, I have taken gbhil's kernel and messing around with it running my own custom mem killer settings. I may post it in his thread to share.

tl;dr I'm broke and not that smart

Just messing with you man. You'll notice any thread i start I try to cover all aspects regarding info. I like info to be presented clean and simple because I'm not into repeating myself.

Man thinks for the details.I completely understand the broke thing.father of5 and I was disabled from work injury.I'm in the same boat no internet or I was going to try building a kernel.other people might do the work faster bit sure doesn't make it as good

Good news everyone. I think i found a way around the whole no internet thing. So you may be seeing an update within a week.

Anyone having SMS issues with this rom and Gumbo Kernel? I can't get SMS with Fresh 1.1 and the Gumbo Kernel. I am not saying this rom has it, just wondering it it has the same problem.

I've had ttg and gumbo goin for more then week and havent had any probs with text

I run Gumbo kernel as well with no SMS issues.

Get anycut and make a shortcut on the homescreen to the app "home"

edit: or download bar control and put a link in your status bar for the same.
