yeah i thought that was just the build number of the cooked rom, not the actual android version. See 1.5 sucks and 1.6 supports a lot more programs and apps like google maps navigation and other stuff on the market that I can't download. So i'd really like to get a 1.6 version on my phone in order to do those things. This rom will allow that?


example of the others:
MoDaCo ROM 1.3 - is this actually android 1.5?
Fresh 1.1 - Is this 1.5 or 1.6?

there are a few listed in here that work really well. Unfortunately some people experience SMS send fail and I happen to be one.But it was fun to play with the apps like Google Goggles and the other wee could not use. Not to mention the Youtube app works for me on the 1.6 build. They them out They Are ASOP builds from Quite and Gbhill

hey quick questions is that Gumbo kernel thing good to work with this rom? sorry im new to android. thanks. :)

Yes. highly recommended. Check the kernal thread for reviews.

sweet! im running Fresh Rom Right now so i got to figure out how to go back to stock. i want to start from a clean slate.

but im running that kernel with Fresh and its pretty damn fast. biggest increase for me has beeb with the camera i used to hate it but i definitely like it now.

Ive been using this rom with Gumbo and SetCPU.. im getting EXCELLENT performance and battery life!! Its like a different phone!

Can you use the Fresh kitchen to add the sprint tv back in and take out some other things?
