Can't get the wifi tether to work, computers can connect to the phone, but there is no internet access. Any ideas?

I have two small glitches:

1) The phone peridoically creates a fake +1 VM notification but you can easily clear that out in settings.

2) WiFi Tether works fine for me but when its running I can't open to the data usage summary page through the status bar, I have to select the app icon itself. Other than that this Rom is flawless. Another Fresh masterpiece.
