Also, I use spc (super private conversation from the market) and add 9016 to it. This way I am never annoyed with the 9016 message, but I still get my vvm. Hope this helps.

Anyone else get force closes with Beautiful Widgets on RC8?

Landscape Launcher

Saw this on XDA and had to try it. The one feature missing from the stock GB launcher.
Flashed after installing rc9, and all looks well.

Landscape capable AOSP gingerbread launcher for CM7 in Flashable zip - xda-developers

On landscape everything just scales rather than stretches, but pretty good anyway. Unless someone knows of a weather clock that has a seperate landscape mode like Sense 2.0.

whats the big difference between this ROM and CM7, both aosp roms .. sense free

just the added gingerbread graphical effects ... ?
i think CM7 has more user ROM options to set ...

4g works on this rom and with CM7 its still in beta ...

am i missing anything else

i love how the screen shuts off on this ROM .. that old TV effect

I think the biggest is it has the stock GB launcher instead of ADW. Also I'm pretty sure the user options (minus the ones that come with ADW) are the same. Deck also does other tweaks, but that is the most superficial IMO. Doesn't matter to me which launcher it comes with anyway since I use LPP.

4G is the same too.

well. there is actually quite a bit different. as mentioned before, yes i use the stock aosp gingerbread launcher. also many packages are stock aosp packages, not edited and modified by the cm team. cyanogenmod uses a few other packages i.e. their statistics and etc that i do not add. i also add some other tweaks that i have learned over the past year. i consider my rom more of a base rom, stock, but with all the usefull features, without the bloat. ready for you to theme it the way you like! in no way am i putting cyanogenmod down, as they are quite responsible for gingerbread running on our devices. they have some of the best devs out there hands down. hope this helps out. i like my roms to be as minimal as possible, and vanilla, so the user can theme it the way he/she likes.
