has anyone tried to reboot into recovery and wipe cache and dalvic to see if that fixes the problem? I am trying that now...

boom, there's a LogCat to show what's going on. Hopefully this can get fixed quickly. Until then, just gonna go to a working nandroid, sync with contacts, and make a contacts card.

And to clarify- a new kernel/full wipe/different gapps won't help.

yeh it shows u can pull anything from a SD. just make a vCard and then bam will have it all good!!

I was having the same sync issue but after a few reboots it worked fine.

Hey Deck, Android 2.3.4 is out... When you think you will start to play with that?
