I haven't tried it. let you know later how it goes, though, Vin is the right person to ask where permissions are concerned and if additional set-up might be needed.

It isn't just you. Vin linked to a very informative thread in post #117.

Re: Jan.24.11.Plutonium-EVOlution ROM

LOL oh boy which kernel works best for battery life!! This will take a lot of testing, in your opinions, which one has worked the best thus far specifically for battery life and charging.

KERNEL BUILDS
Check 4th post for FAQ's and what not! You only need to flash ONE !!!
SENSE BUILDS

AOSP Builds

v7
12/25/10 - SBC for BC's Kernel SBC-bcnice-stable-v7.zip (2.62 MB)
This is what I'm currently using at the moment. So this gets all the updates as of right now.

v8-BETA
12/25/10 - SBC for BC's Kernel SBC-bcnice-stable-v8.zip (2.62 MB)
This is what I've been testing for a while. This build contains auto bump charging based on the voltage as opposed to the full charge method. I don't know how it works on extended batteries yet...but works pretty good on stock batteries. With this, you should have a better chance of picking up the phone at higher voltages.

Re: Jan.24.11.Plutonium-EVOlution ROM

Vin, thanks for the great rom! What ideas do you have in store for the next release? Have you considered the gingerbread dialer? How about adding the flashlight or ringer toggle in the notification drop down.

This is what I got. Went to market and downloaded 3 applications to watch TV. Only liked 2 of them; which are Droid TV and TV.Com which is streamline tv. On both you got CBS The CW, Showtime, CNet, CBS Sports Mobile, CBS News, Gamespot, Smithsonian Channel, Movie Trailer, ET, Classic TV, The Insider, Web Shows and CHOW. I think this is close to HULU and you get to watch full episodes or whatever you would like to see. Don't know if Vin will work around to make HULU as an optional application. You can PM him and ask.

Edit- I'm watching right now CSI (I believe Los Angeles). Like forensic a lot.

Depends upon the usage, tethering and depends on your phone's hardware. You can PM Vin and ask him, he'll tell you more in detail.
