Running Jan.20 all day, the rom is quick and battery is awesome- Moderate use today and I think I might just make it until I go to sleep, we will see. Man, it is almost 4pm here, I might have to start working it harder to kill the battery.:)

Android noob question- does the kernel flash with the rom? My Kernel shows 2.6.32.17 root@paris-laptop #2.

Two of three pages back, Vin posted two pics of 2 different kernels. And that is the right one and is the same as for the rest of us users.

Nice update:mrgreen:

Vin.. I haven't posted over here at ppc for awhile. Awesome that you're now building for Evo. Thanks dude!

It's Flashing Time :)

EDIT: Ok dude, i'm into the build now. Very nice looking, i'd definately stick with the rip screen transitions, they're the best. I think they're actually from Azrael, but nice. Still some blue left to theme, but it definately looks great with the glass look! Thx again dude!

Re: Jan.20.11.Plutonium-EVOlution ROM (SBC battery-saver KERNEL)

I agree, love the transitions.

20:40 here still at 40% battery, unplugged from charger at 7:00; moderate use (all day text, some phone, probably 30 minutes web); 4G, Location, updates on.

Just turned on streaming radio at 20:30 to see there it goes.

21:30 turned off streaming radio- bat-23%.
21:39 Flashed splash screen (2 minute usb charge w/ disk drive), rebooted bat-43%. Interesting.
21:51 Idle except flashlight for 3 minutes- 31%
22:03 20% turning back on streaming radio to kill it. (4G, GPS, updates still on)
22:58 Battery died

Like I was saying Vin, great rom. Can't wait to see where it goes from here!

edit1: [Messages;attach;Complete action using - ES File Explorer] gives me a force close.
edit2: [messages;attach;Complete action using - Messages] works of course.
