Just wanted to follow up. So the 4g is working in some places but after the radio flash it certainly is different. For instance at work i could get some 4g but now nothing. At home though my 4g is now stronger. Who knows but just wanted to clarify that its not broke.

Yea 4G is not broke, but I think in efforts to conserve battery life the 4G radio scans and if can't find signal it disconnects instead of constantly scanning and draining life out of the battery (keep in mind the 4G radio is still on, more like idling then full speed)! I checked it the settings, where after it couldn't find signal it would stop trying and ask you to tap it to retry! I think this a good idea...but you might for get to tap retry no biggie lol

Re: [ROM] Myn’s Warm TwoPointTwo - [RLS 5 - 01/07/2011] - More Than Meets The Eye!

New to android <came from TP2 of course> and finally flashed my EVO to the new release of this rom, works pretty damn good and it's nice and quick, really liking it so far, was like most and had a hard time/nervous about flashing but went ahead and broke my cherry. One of the questions I have is that the battery life is not all that great, is it like flashing a TP2 and I should wait a couple days/charging cycles to let the rom settle in? I know you can change kernals/radios and all that but really don't want to venture into that area yet, any advise is appreciated.

Re: [ROM] Myn’s Warm TwoPointTwo - [RLS 5 - 01/07/2011] - More Than Meets The Eye!

sorry if this is a really stupid question but if I am already running this kernal stock can anyone please tell me if I will need to do this step? please?
Download Warm TwoPointTwo RLS 5 (Mirror 1) (Mirror 2) - [MD5sum: ba1cc1aed1d8161e3429909470bd7eb4]
As this ROM now uses the latest official HTC Kernel (#15) you MUST update your Radio/Wimax. I recommend Calkulin's combo update which is available here or via direct download here.

Been running this ROM for a minute now. Great speed and stability. Few things I might would recommend or personally would like to see.

Ad blocker-less edition, for those of us who like to support free apps and sites by not blocking ads that support them. Maybe a way to tweak notification drawer, with what I want there. (Maybe I missed a tweak)

I was also on the newest stock 3.70 and had the same question. I ran the radio upgrade anyway, but it immediately returned. I figure it must have checked and saw that the same version was already installed, so it didn't do anything. It won't hurt to run it, but it's apparently not necessary.

Re: [ROM] Myn’s Warm TwoPointTwo - [RLS 5 - 01/07/2011] - More Than Meets The Eye!

Just flashed this ROM last night and I'm deeply in love! This is the second rom I've tried out (Sprint Lovers was first) so in a way this technically feels like the first real custom rom to me. Amazing work, looking forward to future revisions!

OK this is odd... I just did a complete wipe and reinstall to try to fix it too. When I get a text at the bottom of it in a slightly different font it says: C10PMNGE PUK: Just like that... ideas?

figured it out.. Darkstar font made it show that.
