As per Virus RC2 is a completely different ROM and he suggests doing a complete wipe.

Ok here is what I did when I flashed for the first time

If you want to use apps2sd
1. BACK UP YOUR MEMORY CARD TO YOUR COMPUTER
2. Flash AmonRa's Recovery .img
3. Boot into recovery mode
4. Select Partition SD card
4. Set: 512 Ext: 1024 (you can use whatever you want this is just the sizes i set :) )
5. let it finish select SD:ext2 to ext3

7. Put all your stuff back on your memory card now (including my new rom rc2)

8. I flashed the format all zip from CALK thanks btw calk!!!
9. I went to Wipe data/factory reset then wipe cache, wipe Dalvik-cache and finally wipe SD:ext partition
10. Then flash the rom and let it boot all the way up
11. Go back into recovery mode and flash VirusROM_apps.zip now located on your sd card
12. Reboot to make sure they all the programs install
12. Reboot into Recovery one last time i know this is LONG
13. Flash your kernel of choice (MUST BE FROM THE NEW LINKS IF YOU FLASH ONE OF THE OLD ONES IT WILL BREAK APPS2SD !!)
14. Flash Theme of choice
15. reboot and enjoy

ALSO GUYS I SUGGEST YOU KEEP THE KERNEL THAT IS COOKED IN THE 4.1.8 CFS NETARCHY IT ROCKS!!!!

I use Titanium Backup (free and paid versions) in the Market.
It'll back up apps, mail, sms, Sense settings, bookmarks, etc...

Now here is a question, I haven't really seen many posts on using Titanium backup. Typically I use it for just restoring apps, never system apps. If I save all of my settings and want to restore things like networking options, keyboard options, etc., what Titanium backup files should I restore?

P.S. - my streaming sound is all f'd up again after installing the base, kernel, and theme and restoring titanium backup files. I'd love to know what is the root cause and how I can fix it without wiping.

I am having a bit of trouble with this. I had rooted my Evo without any problems when I first got it, but I kept the stock rom for a while. When I finally decided to flash a rom onto it I used the Rom Manager. I went ahead and flashed Clear Temp before I flashed the Rom, but when that was finished I had lost the Superuser and seemed to be not rooted anymore. When I went to the bootloader and tried to use the recovery it rebooted into an error screen and I had to remove the battery to get out of it. The screen was just a picture of a smartphone with an exclamation point in a triangle in the top corner. I'm kind of at a loss here. I've tried running through the steps to re-root my phone, but every time I get to the recovery part I get that error. I'd post a picture but the phone is my camera... I'll try to borrow one to take a picture when I get off work... Does anyone have any suggestions? The phone still works so I didn't brick it at the very least...

You lost part 2 on ur phone bro. Gonna have to re try and root part 2.. That happend to me once and it took abit to figure out, but deff part 2 has been lost in ur phone

At this point, are you running stock and if so is it with 2.2?

I have tried different combos of the install and get stuck in a reboot loop with the color X and music restarting every few seconds. I cleared all caches and used AMON RA and clockwork... what can I do?

1. flash your rom. **reboot** let it boot and then go into recovery again.
2. flash your kernel. **reboot** let it boot then go into recovery again.
3. flash your theme. **reboot** and enjoy.

Yes I'm on stock, no it isn't 2.2. I've had the updater ask if I would like to download and install that, which I've been canceling... Should I just go through with that and then start from scratch?

Ti Backup has a TON of options to back up. I know the modded kb and wifi settings are in there, you just gotta go through and see if the ones you need are there.
My streaming audio is messed up as well-super slow. Commercials play fine but when the live feed starts it sounds like it's playing in slow motion.
I assume this is the "demon voice" issue hulu users were hearing?
If so the hulu fix MAY help? Just a GUESS.

Thanks I will check it out today. What is strange is how I did have it working on the last Virus rom installed and now it stopped again.

anyone done any benchmarking on the new rom yet? i expected it to be much faster on fps than before, due to the OTA update. however, i'm not seeing that at all.

Is there a reason why htc gallery force closes everytime I select a folder? Reflashed it and it still does it. Anyone else have this problem?

its the rosie zip you installed..

you have to use the expresso 5 row.. any other will crash your videos and consequently your video file chooser like in your camera. check it out. go to your camera and try to select your videos from there and it will crash there too.

I check all over the place man. I love the work you're doing. Finally got Airborne going. Very nice looking, I just can't get it going as fast as the sense one.
