I can confirm the Google Sky Maps. I've heard of a lot of people having issues with Google Apps and Facebook Apps since the Froyo Update.

thanks for the great work! great to finally be on 2.2

one problem though.. my 4g no longer works and just stays in scanning mode.. flashed to the latest radio and wimax already

any tips? :(

edit: nevermind, wiped EVERYTHING again and reflashed this rom, 4g is working!

Hey guys, question. 4G works for me on rev 2, and wifi tether works, but only connects for like 5 minutes at a time. I then have reconnect the wifi tether to my laptop. Any one have ideas?

It's a known issue with the wireless tether app.

I thought the majority of the problems was with WIFI tether not connecting at all.
1) would it make sense to try the pre 6 version.

2) Also, i am trying to update the google voice search app, but i am not sure how to. Any ideas? i tried downloading it through the marketplace, but it is unsuccessful to install. I also tried to update through the applications tab in settings, but it is greyed out.

Got the answer to this question. Search is my friend. For those that want to know, you have to delete /system/voicesearch.apk , reboot and then install through marketplace from this link

3) and one more question, is there any difference between this OTA Rev 2 and the one from Netarchy? Just curious.

1) Yes it does make since but only if you run netarchy's kernel. Pre 6 won't work with the stock kernel.

2) I was going to suggest that. Glad you got it fixed.

3) This is deodex'd and Netarchy's isn't

Does this ROM allow you to change your PRL via the ##775# dialer?

I can confirm the facebook problem. Havent tried the Sky Maps. I also wiped all data prior to and after install. Downloaded file twice and installed it multiple times with the same error. I have gone to another ROM and didnt have the problem. So Im pretty sure it is this ROM specific. So I am going to a different room untill its fixed.
