Wifi Tether will not work without a custom kernel. I can not test 4G since it's not in my market.

I have been running your rom since yesterday when it came out, an it have been running great.!!! Thanks again for the great work!!BTW I ran four roms the same exact way with all the same settings an apps, an yours came on top with best scores an plus running great.THANKS Two deodex roms and two odex...Test are ran with 3.7.6c-Froyoized - For 2.2 by netarchy-toastmod Thank them for the outstanding kernel!!!

any1 else have issues with teh gallery app freezing and force closing?

i cant set wallpaper, view pix, etc. then when it closes, the phone is very laggy untill i reboot it.

I'm pretty sure I tested the Gallery and had no issues but I can't be certain at the moment.

Also People with 4G....check this out from unrevoked: I think we can only get that by flashing with the RUU but I'm not positive about that.

Not at the moment. If you are on another rooted version then this will keep you rooted.

I have installed this ROM twice, both times wipe data, wipe both caches multiple times. I can not get market to install Google Sky maps or Facebook update.
Can someone else confirm this problem?

Can anyone please confirm... Does 4G/WiMax work with this when updated properly (i.e. radio and WiMax updated after update of the ROM), or not?? I don't want to break that...

I can confirm the Google Sky Maps. I've heard of a lot of people having issues with Google Apps and Facebook Apps since the Froyo Update.

thanks for the great work! great to finally be on 2.2

one problem though.. my 4g no longer works and just stays in scanning mode.. flashed to the latest radio and wimax already

any tips? :(

edit: nevermind, wiped EVERYTHING again and reflashed this rom, 4g is working!

Hey guys, question. 4G works for me on rev 2, and wifi tether works, but only connects for like 5 minutes at a time. I then have reconnect the wifi tether to my laptop. Any one have ideas?

It's a known issue with the wireless tether app.

I thought the majority of the problems was with WIFI tether not connecting at all.
1) would it make sense to try the pre 6 version.

2) Also, i am trying to update the google voice search app, but i am not sure how to. Any ideas? i tried downloading it through the marketplace, but it is unsuccessful to install. I also tried to update through the applications tab in settings, but it is greyed out.

Got the answer to this question. Search is my friend. For those that want to know, you have to delete /system/voicesearch.apk , reboot and then install through marketplace from this link

3) and one more question, is there any difference between this OTA Rev 2 and the one from Netarchy? Just curious.

Any help would be appreciated.

1) Yes it does make since but only if you run netarchy's kernel. Pre 6 won't work with the stock kernel.

2) I was going to suggest that. Glad you got it fixed.

I can confirm the facebook problem. Havent tried the Sky Maps. I also wiped all data prior to and after install. Downloaded file twice and installed it multiple times with the same error. I have gone to another ROM and didnt have the problem. So Im pretty sure it is this ROM specific. So I am going to a different room untill its fixed.

Actually a lot of people are having this issue with the deodex'd versions. With Facebook, just uninstall the version preloaded and install the newest version from the market. With Sky Maps try mounting your sd card, install skymaps then remount your sd card.

OK i have a question, I have a plan Jane 2.2 OTA Rooted ROM right so I cant do theme and I hear with Deodex'd I can. If I flash this ROM can I run a restore to put back my app or do I start from scratch.

You can backup your apps with Astro then restore them.

I'd like to make a note that Wireless Tether does NOT work on this. I flashed this clean to my EVO and I always get a "failure starting access-point" when trying to use wireless tether.

It's a problem with the version of wireless tether. You can find a newer version and it'll work.

Is anyone have an issue where the apps you download from the market do not install? I have to manually go to my sd card/downloads/ and select "downloads1" or whatever. Did the same thing to me on Cauklins rom too.

Try to unmount your sd card, install from market then remount your sd card.

is there a way to update to the rooted 3.29.651.5 (9/22/10 OTA update) without having to flash everything off the phone?? like through the ROM manger or something?

I'm new to android, and i was wondering.
