Well here I am going back to 2.1 from Calkulin's 2.2 which ran sweet other than the froyo bugs on the google side. So if that ran sweet this should be as well AND my full paid year of Slacker radio will sound like real music again instead tin can caveM radio. Full Flash in a web page...meh, the player does it anyway for 2.1. No voice dialing, oh well, went with out it this long as well. Speaking of BT because I was hoping this was part of froyo as well as voice dialing...Why does the Dell Streak get the sweet BT stack or profile that let's it use the Logitech Dinovo Mini or regular HID BT mouse and keyboards and the Evo can't. WTH? Should be a common function, even my TP2 finally got that, the KB part anyway.

there's actually a pretty easy fix using root explorer for this:
using root explorer:

system/build.prop/
find
media.stagefright.enable-player= true change the true to false and reboot

pandora is back to awesome again on 2.2

Thanks, I did try one of those methods.(http edit of stagefright false) I just did not like the side effects. Sounded better but youtube HD would freeze mid stream as well as even slacker sometimes. Too much give...not enough get. Guess I could have tried the other but that messes with the whole systems media player from what I read.
The big other problem was despite setting my jawbone to not play music the phone and BT would not play nice with the audio jack being used for audio out to the Alpine. Maybe I missed a phone setting but couldn't make it work like 2. 1

He is updating the ROM thru XDA developers...see his rom there (he's at version 1.1 already)...rocking it now...one of the best Roms i have ever used on my evo!

Agree brotha! Got me a quadrant score of 1544 yesterday w the king bfs kernel #1 really good battery life also.
