Re: [Kernel]netarchy-toastmod, FPS 'fix' for Epson + Nova, with hdmi out - Version 3.

Netarchy since I'm in San Antonio as well, I should bring my EVO to you and let you have at it. LOL... Coming from a TP2 this whole Anroid deal is pretty overwhelming. But I am about to try this on my EVO which is rooted using the SimpleRoot OTA 1.47.651.1 Edition, with whitslacks rom. I have the Nova screen so I hope this will really help my EVO out. Any specific instructions-tips I need to know about before trying this? I'm already backed up with Titanium. Thanks..!!

Netarchy,
Any chance your kernel (the latest) will be tweaked to work on foyo when it's officially released? Or are you leaving that work up to other developers?

3.7.5 works really great on my phone. Everything seems very smooth.

I do plan on working on froyo stuff yes. The thing with my work on kernels is that I tend to work on what I'm using ;D
Since I'm still using 2.1, that's what I aim at. When 2.2 is out officially it will also be joined with sources for a newer kernel revision, which means even more fun.

Re: [Kernel]netarchy-toastmod, FPS 'fix' for Epson + Nova, with hdmi out - Version 3.

Does anyone one know if this will work with the new 2.2 Froyo Roms coming out. I'm using OMJs 1.8 currently moving to the 2.0 rom he just put out. Is it safe to move to that rom with this installed? Do I need to reflash it after putting on the rooted Froyo rom?

Re: [Kernel]netarchy-toastmod, FPS 'fix' for Epson + Nova, with hdmi out - Version 3.

How is the "audio boost" supposed to work? Regardless of if I use the stock kernel, the 3.7.3c boosted, or the 3.7.5, there is absolutely no change in the output volume from my device, either from the speaker or bluetooth devices. The LVH hack files that supposedly magically work have no effect either, regardless of what rom I push them into (cm6, s3ivo, baked snack, damage 3.2.3). Searching yields literally dozens of threads asking how to boost the volume, and not a single one yields any real result.

How do I "turn it on"?

As of this minute running 1.47 rooted stock, w/ 3.7.5.

Re: [Kernel]netarchy-toastmod, updated for 2.2 - Version 3.7.7

New Revision: 3.7.7-Froyoized:

Notes for 3.7.7-Froyoized
- Re-integrate zipalign check and Dalvik cache tweak from the 2.1 line
- Some adjustments made to bluetooth-specific audio tweaks to combat distortion
- Audio adjustments to combat background noise overpowering the voice on the other end of a call
- Set version tag correctly (har har!)
- Super-mutant rabid naked bunny successfully created in lab conditions, however it disintegrates upon exposure to reality.
